"The Next Big Thing" is the story of would-be Rock Star Mike West whose
career in music spans many 'next big things' from Beatles to Britpop ...and all the B*ll*cks in between! Unfortunately for
Mike he is destined to spend his many years in music as a backing musician standing in the shade of stars who burn more brightly
such as Zak Love (above).
Below are MP3s of songs from two very different parts of Mike's
career as featured in "The Next Big Thing". "Why Do You Do The Things You Do Do" dates back to the Mersey-Beat era
of the Sixties whilst "Boy" stems from the Glam-Rock days of the early Seventies.
